Reopening New York, Part I:

Your Workforce in the un-PAUSE Stage

Governor Cuomo issued a statewide “PAUSE” order through May 15, 2020. Now, New York is starting to reopen on a regional basis within the State. With 10 regions and 4 phases of reopening, organizations throughout the State will face differing schedules and parameters for resuming business operations.

In the first of an anticipated series of webinars, we will focus specifically on New York’s reopening guidelines as they affect workplaces and the employment relationship. For this presentation, we anticipate that some New York businesses will have begun reopening, but most still face strict limitations. Some areas of the State, including the New York City-metro area and Western New York will likely trail others, creating both frustration and opportunity to learn from experiences elsewhere in the State. The webinar will emphasize intra-regional differences and similarities to help all employers follow best practices toward increasing productivity while avoiding undue risks.

Who will benefit from this webinar:

  • Business owners
  • Human Resources professionals
  • In-house attorneys
  • Health and safety managers
  • Office/plant managers
