Horton Law PLLC announces a new approach to providing efficient and effective employment law services to employers in New York State. The firm’s Management Counsel Program helps businesses identify the essential aspects of their operations that warrant employment law advice and provides the necessary services through a flat-fee model. The Program gives employers plan options depending on the nature of advice needed based on size, workforce factors, and internal capabilities.

The Management Counsel Program allows businesses of all sizes to experience the benefits of an inside employment lawyer without the overall expense of employing one directly on a full-time basis.

“We’re formalizing an approach we’ve already been using with some clients,” explained Scott Horton, the firm’s founder. “The Management Counsel Program makes it easier for organizations to identify the value of establishing an ongoing partnership with experienced employment law advisors. It’s both a prevention and response model. We want to make it clear to clients that we’d rather things not go wrong; but we’ll be there if they do.”

Horton Law will also continue to provide representation on a hourly-fee basis and use other pricing arrangements consistent with client demands. Horton added, “We’ll remain flexible in our fee structures. We aren’t forcing anyone into this Program. But it’s a terrific new option for many employers in the market we serve.”
