1. Do we have to commit to a long-term agreement?
We hope to become your trusted employment law counsel for many years. However, you are never obligated to continue the representation and will only pay for the services we’ve provided.
2. How does the flat-fee model work?
Our Management Counsel Program plans are designed to provide a predictable cost for most of your regular employment counsel needs. This usually results in a set monthly fee to cover day-to-day items. As noted in the MCP description, some matters such as litigation are not typically included in the Manager, Director, and Executive plans. However, you will receive a discount on our standard fees as a MCP participant. In addition, we are happy to discuss flat-fee and other billing models for all types of matters we are retained to assist with.
3. How much do the various plans cost?
As our goal is to be as client-focused as possible, we’d like to be able have a fixed fee schedule for your ready reference. Unfortunately, we must align our fees with the volume and nature of work to be performed for a specific client. This can vary based on many factors beyond easy measurables such as number of employees. Nonetheless, we will work with you to determine your anticipated needs and provide a price up-front as quickly as possible.
4. Who will we work with?
Our attorneys will work together to ensure efficient and effective representation of your organization through the Management Counsel Program. If you have specific requirements and expectations regarding staff assignments, we are happy to discuss those with you at any time.
5. Is this solely a virtual representation?
Only if you want it to be! We look forward to meeting the people in your organization in person. But we are well equipped to provide most services remotely using phones, computers, and related technology. We can present webinars or in-person presentations for the included trainings using our software/equipment or yours. We can appear onsite if and as necessary, but in some cases (as pre-discussed) we would pass on travel costs.
