COVID-19 After 18 Months:

A Legal Update for New York Employers

The COVID-19 pandemic first hit New York workplaces in March 2020. Now, more than a year-and-a-half later, we’re still dealing with an ever-developing array of legal guidelines and restrictions on top of the underlying health issues.

On Labor Day, New York State activated the airborne infectious disease exposure prevention plans for all private-sector businesses. More recently, President Biden announced that OSHA would be imposing a vaccinate-or-test mandate for companies with 100+ employees. And these are just two highlights from this month’s developments on dealing with the pandemic. A complicated array of other laws and guidelines also continue to challenge employers across the state (and beyond).

In this webinar, we’ll address the most significant legal issues confronting New York employers in managing their workforces through the latest resurgence of COVID-19.
