Overall, educational institutions often provide a wide range of diverse services ranging from dining to classroom instruction, resulting in a vast array of job responsibilities beyond teaching and administration.

In addition to his focus on labor and employment matters, Scott Horton has served in a general counsel role for a public school district since 2013 and has represented several local colleges and universities, including in matters involving student issues. He currently chairs the Bar Association of Erie County’s Municipal & School Law Committee.
